Seattle converted 1 of 11 third downs and scored on 1 of 4 red-zone trips: Austin Booker blocked Jason Myers’ 33-yard field goal try early in the fourth quarter, and Myers missed the extra point after Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 43-yard touchdown catch 30 seconds before halftime. DeMarcus Lawrence’s forced fumble and recovery set up Cooper Kupp’s 7-yard touchdown catch and Tory Horton’s two-point catch, which made it 20-17 with 11:46 left; Chicago answered with two Swift touchdowns, the second after James Lynch intercepted Sam Darnold and returned it to the Seattle 6. Smith-Njigba caught six passes for 118 yards; Darnold went 17 of 34 for 188 yards, two touchdowns and an interception and was sacked three times. Seattle is 4-4 and Chicago 6-2. How to watch
ESPN has Monday Night Football, so the game is on ESPN on cable and satellite and on the live-TV streaming services that carry ESPN. Joe Buck calls play-by-play with Troy Aikman as analyst, and Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge report from the sidelines, per the club. The Bears’ listing also names ESPN+ for streaming. In the Seattle area the game is also free over the air on FOX 13 (KCPQ), per FOX 13, which runs its Game Day pregame show from 4:00 p.m. and postgame coverage at 8:00 p.m.; the club’s own post lists ESPN only. On the radio, Steve Raible and Dave Wyman call it on 710 AM and 97.3 FM with Jen Mueller on the sideline, and Westwood One has Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner nationally. NFL+ streams games on phones and tablets. The Seahawks app carries the local radio call for listeners in the Seattle area.
The line
As of Monday morning, November 2, at 6:37 a.m. Pacific, DraftKings has Seattle favored by 3, with a total of 46.5 and a moneyline of Seattle -175, Chicago +145, per ESPN’s game data; Seattle’s side of the 3 is priced at -120. VegasInsider’s consensus at the same time is also Seattle -3 and 46.5, with a -175 and +145 moneyline; Bet365, Fanatics and Kalshi have Seattle -3.5, and BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel and Hard Rock -3. The line opened Seattle -4.5 with a total of 47.5, was Seattle -3.5 with DraftKings on Tuesday morning and -3 when we checked Saturday afternoon. Both teams’ game statuses are out; Monday’s inactives can still move it. Our pick is in the Week 8 preview, and the Seahawks odds page carries the line for every game and Seattle’s record against it, 2-3-2.
As with every game: Washington allows sports betting only in person at tribal casinos, and there is no legal online sportsbook in the state. We carry no sportsbook advertising, and the numbers are here because fans ask, not as advice.
At the stadium
Per the club’s game-day page, the Ticketmaster Tailgate opens at 2:00 p.m., suites and the Delta Sky360 Club at 2:30 p.m., and all gates at 3:30 p.m., an hour and 45 minutes before the 5:15 p.m. kickoff. Inactives come 90 minutes before kickoff, at 3:45 p.m. Joey Belladonna of Anthrax sings the national anthem, and the All-Star Stunt Dogs are the halftime show. The National Weather Service forecast, issued late Sunday night, has a dry, cloudy evening: 51°F at kickoff, 49°F by 8 p.m., a rain chance of 5 percent or less through 9 p.m., and almost no wind. Bring a layer for the end of the game; rain gear looks optional.
What to bring. One clear tote or clear backpack up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches (a backpack with no more than two pockets), a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small clutch up to 4.5 by 6.5. Walker’s Lockers near the north and south entrances hold anything else. Medical and diaper bags go through the VIP gates or the club and suite entrances for inspection.
Paying. Lumen Field is cashless. If you only have cash, the cash-to-card kiosks by Section 131 in Olympic Hall, Section 103 on the main level and in the Event Center load $1 to $500 with no fee, though kiosk cards do not work at the Amazon Just Walk Out stands.
Getting there
Take the train. Link’s 1 and 2 Lines stop at Stadium and Chinatown/International District stations, and Pioneer Square station is a short walk. A Monday night kickoff lands at the end of the evening commute, so leave extra time. Sounder game trains will not run for this game, per the club, which points fans to Link light rail instead.
Parking and tailgating. The North Lot and the Lumen Field Garage are sold by the season, so there is no single-game parking in either; the team points fans to SpotHero for the private lots around SoDo. Tailgating is not allowed anywhere on Lumen Field property. Our parking guide covers the lots and garages around the stadium.
Tickets
Season tickets are sold out. The club’s advice is to buy only through Seahawks.com or verified resale, and it names NFL Ticket Exchange, StubHub and SeatGeek. Our Bears ticket guide covers where to sit for this game and where to buy, and the seating chart guide explains the bowl. We do not show prices, because we have no live feed that keeps them true; check the seller for the all-in total.
Seahawks news going in

Sam Darnold went 20 of 28 for 257 yards and was not sacked, and Seattle converted 11 of 16 third downs. Our Week 7 recap has the whole game.

- Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Nine catches for 150 yards and a touchdown against Kansas City, his sixth 100-yard game in seven, and a league-leading eight touchdown catches, per the club. On Wednesday he and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow were named Week 7’s Air & Ground Players of the Week, his second of the award this season, per the club.
- Injuries from Sunday. Per the club, Rashid Shaheed (knee) did not play in the second half, Velus Jones Jr. (hamstring) did not return, and left tackle Charles Cross (ankle) left in the fourth quarter. On Seattle Sports 710 AM on Monday, Mike Macdonald said of Shaheed, “early returns are positive,” and the club reports the team is still waiting on imaging of Cross’s ankle. Backup quarterback Drew Lock (elbow) was inactive. Zach Charbonnet will practice in full this week with his 2026 debut still to be decided, and rookie Jadarian Price is set to return to practice from injured reserve, per the club. On Thursday Seattle designated Price for return, opening his practice window after four games out with a chest injury, per the club. At his Monday afternoon press conference, Macdonald said injured reserve for Cross had not been discussed (“We haven’t had that conversation yet”) and that the severity of Jones’s hamstring is not known, per the club. On Thursday’s first practice report, Cross, Shaheed, Jones and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (ankle) did not practice and Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a rest day; Price (chest), Lock (right elbow) and defensive tackle Leonard Williams (Achilles), new to the report, were among ten limited, and Charbonnet was full, per the club. On Friday Price, linebackers Connor O’Toole, Chazz Surratt and Drake Thomas and Williams were upgraded to full; Bradford (knee) and linebacker Patrick O’Connell (toe) did not practice after being limited Thursday, Charbonnet went from full to limited, and defensive tackles Byron Murphy II (back, limited) and Brandon Pili (back, did not practice) were added. Cross, Shaheed, Jones and Nwosu sat for the second straight day, per the club. On Saturday’s final report Seattle ruled out Cross, Shaheed and Jones, listed Nwosu as doubtful, and Bradford, Lock, O’Connell and Pili as questionable; Charbonnet and Price have no designation, per the club. The day-by-day table is on the injury report.
- Inactives, 3:48 p.m. Zach Charbonnet makes his 2026 debut and Jadarian Price is active after four games on injured reserve; Quenton Nelson debuts at left guard with Grey Zabel at right guard; Anthony Bradford and Patrick O’Connell, both questionable, are active; Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt return; elevated Bobby Hart and Montorie Foster Jr. are active. Drew Lock is the emergency third quarterback again, and Brandon Pili (back) is inactive. For Chicago, Malik Muhammad II (toe) is inactive, per the Seahawks.
- Charbonnet is back; Josh Jones at left tackle. Mike Macdonald said Zach Charbonnet will make his 2026 debut, his first game since tearing his ACL in last season’s divisional round. Jadarian Price is medically cleared but needs a roster move by Monday afternoon to play: “We have a plan for Zach and with JD, if we were to make a move, that would happen on Monday to my knowledge,” Macdonald said. With Cross out, “Josh will play left tackle,” and Drake Thomas returns to the starting lineup, per the club. Of Shaheed: “Right now, he’s out this game and we’ll recalibrate next week.” On Monday afternoon Seattle activated Price from injured reserve to play, waived running back Robert Henry Jr. to make room, and elevated receiver Montorie Foster Jr. and tackle Bobby Hart from the practice squad, per the club.
- Quenton Nelson at left guard. On Tuesday, October 27, Seattle agreed to acquire the guard from Indianapolis for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, pending a physical, per the club. He practiced with Seattle for the first time on Thursday, listed as a full participant (knee), and Macdonald confirmed he will play left guard, with Grey Zabel moving to right guard and Anthony Bradford the backup at both guard spots, per the club. “I think our offensive line probably played their best game of the season this past Sunday night. And I just want to be clear; this isn’t like a commentary on any of our personnel or anything like that,” Macdonald said. Nelson, the No. 6 pick in 2018 and the Colts’ starting left guard since his rookie season, has made the Pro Bowl in each of his eight seasons and was a first-team All-Pro in each of his first three. To make room, Seattle waived guard Christian Haynes, who started five games this season while Anthony Bradford was on injured reserve, and re-signed receivers Montorie Foster Jr. and Malick Meiga to the practice squad, per the club; our roster page is current.
- The uniforms. Seattle wears college navy jerseys and wolf grey pants, the third time this season after Week 2 at Arizona and Week 5 against the 49ers, per the club.
- The red zone. Seattle was 0 for 3 inside the 20 against Kansas City, and Macdonald named red-zone work among the things still to fix.
Bears news going in
- 5-2, two straight wins. Chicago won 59-37 at Carolina in Week 1, lost 9-3 at home to Minnesota, beat Philadelphia 27-7 on Monday Night Football and the Jets 23-12 at home, lost 31-7 at Green Bay, then won 31-23 at Atlanta on October 18 and 30-24 at home against New England on Thursday, October 22.
- Caleb Williams is back. The quarterback missed three games with a hamstring injury, then went 30 of 36 for 305 yards at Atlanta and 22 of 33 for 308 yards and two touchdowns against New England, with no interceptions in either. Rookie receiver Luther Burden III had 130 yards and a touchdown on four catches against the Patriots. Our scouting report from the Eagles game has what Chicago looked like without Williams.
- Cole Kmet out for the season. The Bears placed the tight end on injured reserve on October 23 with a knee injury from the fourth quarter against New England, and the club now says he is out for the rest of the season. Colston Loveland, who has 13 catches and two touchdowns in the last two games, starts, and rookie Sam Roush is the only other tight end on the 53-man roster; Ben Johnson said Roush’s “rep count is going to go up,” per the club.
- Montez Sweat is back. The defensive end returned this week from a two-game league suspension; he had seven tackles and two sacks in his five starts. Cornerback Kyler Gordon has four sacks in the two games Sweat missed. Chicago also signed running back Zavier Scott to the 53-man roster from the practice squad on Tuesday, per the club.
- Chicago trades for Jeffery Simmons. On Thursday evening the Bears announced they have acquired the three-time All-Pro defensive lineman from Tennessee for 2027 and 2028 first-round picks and a 2027 fourth-round pick, and receive a 2028 fifth-round pick back (club announcement). Simmons led all interior defensive linemen with 11 sacks and 17 tackles for loss last season, per the club, and has four sacks in seven starts this season. He is not on any of Chicago’s three injury reports this week. “We believe he is going to impact us at a high level on the grass but also in the locker room too,” general manager Ryan Poles said Friday, per the club.
- Chicago’s final injury report. Running back Kyle Monangai (thumb, toe) is out, his fourth straight game missed. Cornerback Malik Muhammad (toe), limited all week, and linebacker D’Marco Jackson (ankle), who did not practice Friday but was full Saturday, are questionable. Linebacker T.J. Edwards, the defense’s play-caller, returns from a hamstring injury that cost him two games, and tight end Colston Loveland (neck), added Friday as limited and full Saturday, has no designation; of Loveland, Ben Johnson said, “We’re hoping it’s a minor thing,” per the club.
- Coby Bryant. The former Seahawk, who signed with Chicago in March, is still recovering from knee surgery in early August. On Wednesday Ben Johnson said “we’re still a little ways away from him doing the change-of-direction stuff,” and that the next month will “go a long way to see whether we can get him back this year or not,” per the club.
- Ben Johnson is in his second season as Chicago’s head coach.
