The first look at this game, written twelve days out, the morning after Seattle lost 34-17 to Chicago and five days before Seattle hosts Arizona. The Raiders are 4-4 in their first season under Klint Kubiak, who was Seattle’s offensive coordinator for its 2025 championship season, per the Raiders, and they come in off a 38-33 win at the Jets that ended a four-game losing streak. Las Vegas plays at San Francisco on Sunday before this one. Raiders news going in
- 4-4. Las Vegas beat Miami 27-13 at home and won 26-14 at the Chargers and 35-27 at New Orleans, then lost four straight, 30-27 to Kansas City, 45-17 at New England, 33-30 to Buffalo and 35-21 to the Rams, before winning 38-33 at the Jets on November 1, per ESPN’s results.
- Kirk Cousins at quarterback. At the Jets he went 19 of 26 for 247 yards and three touchdowns and ran in a fourth, and per the club his 19 touchdown passes rank second in the league and his 2,124 passing yards third. “That’s who he’s been all year,” Kubiak said, per the club. “He’s been a leader, he’s been a playmaker for us.”
- Brock Bowers caught seven passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns against the Jets, and rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. ran 25 times for 83 yards. Dylan Laube returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, the league’s first kickoff-return touchdown this season, per the club.
- The defense. The Jets scored on their first six drives and ran for 166 yards, before Jeremy Chinn’s interception in the end zone with seven seconds left sealed it, per the club.
